Tucked away in a forested bylane of Assagao next to Vianaar’s luxury apartments in Goa El Rocio, Suzie’s is a cozy little garden restaurant that enraptures you at once. It reflects Goa’s picturesque charm perfectly with a touch of the urbane. Intimate for a romantic dinner yet spacious to host birthdays and celebratory events; or just to enjoy a tapas-and-cocktail evening, Susie’s is alive with creativity.

Every six weeks, the menu gets a makeover to accommodate the freshest of local ingredients and seasonal produce. Founder and head chef of Suzie’s pet detox is whipping up gourmet delicacies for the semi-set, five course fusion food menu. She culls her inspiration from her hearty Punjabi food background, Oxford Brookes training, and gourmet experience in Melbourne and Mumbai. The tasteful fare is teamed with cocktails and a well-stocked bar for the ‘spirit’ually inclined, and a variety of thirst quenchers for those who aren’t.

Suzie’s is the brainchild of Suchint Dhillon and her entrepreneur partner, wildlife enthusiast, Kanak Seth. They insist on preparing absolutely fresh food, and pride themselves on being a near-zero wastage restaurant. Suzie’s is a reservations and dinner only restaurant, bookings accepted a day prior. A dinner will cost INR 1500 for a five course meal. You can pick from vegetarian and non-vegetarian options for each course. So if you’re heading to holiday homes in Goa, Suzie says, “Come on over!”
