TAP AERATORS
Vianaar homes use tap aerators, also known as flow regulators. These small attachments that fit at the end of the tap have the capacity to cut water usage by up to 70%, without compromising on the water pressure. For us, it is a small measure that ensures the responsible use of a valuable resource in everyday activities.
EDIBLE KITCHEN GARDENS
At Vianaar, we take advantage of Goa’s temperate climate and fertile soil to maintain edible kitchen gardens with a variety of local fruits, vegetables, herbs and condiments, offering homeowners and guests a farm to table experience. The native plant species that we cultivate, support local wildlife and help improve soil quality, creating a thriving and robust ecosystem.
LOCAL CRAFTSPEOPLE AND MATERIALS
We collaborate with artisans from different Indian states, like Nagaland, to create custom furniture from indigenous, sustainable materials. This helps us substantially reduce our transportation needs. Moreover, by incorporating low-impact crafts like rattan in our interiors, we are able to reduce our environmental footprint and also support traditional craftsmanship.
GRASS PAVERS
In Vianaar homes, grass pavers serve as an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional concrete or asphalt surfaces. These pavers are laid directly on the soil in driveways and parking areas, creating permeable surfaces that allow rainwater to seep in. They help replenish groundwater levels and enhance water tables.
Sewage Treatment Plant
As an important step towards sustainable living, STPs (sewage treatment plants) are now an integral part of our eco-conscious infrastructure. By efficiently treating wastewater, these systems produce water that is safe and suitable for irrigation—minimising water wastage and reducing dependence on freshwater sources.
GARBAGE SEGREGATION
Waste segregation is a process that is carefully managed across all Vianaar projects. We partner with a local vendor for the responsible disposal of waste. Additionally, paper, plastic and other recyclables are sent to a recycling plant in Goa. All organic waste is composted and used as plant fertiliser.
TERRAZZO
Terrazzo is a signature design feature across Vianaar homes. Handcrafted from industrial waste like glass, marble, and stone, it is cast on-site by skilled artisans and combines the benefits of elegance, durability, and sustainability.
FLY ASH BRICKS
Made by converting coal waste into effective building material, fly ash bricks are integral to Vianaar's green construction practices. By lowering the environmental impact of mining and helping reduce top-soil erosion, fly ash bricks offer a more sustainable alternative to traditional clay bricks.
CENTRAL CUT-OFF SWITCH
Vianaar homes are designed to conserve energy. All our villas and manors come equipped with a central cut-off switch as a standard feature. This mechanism helps ensure electricity savings when the villa is unoccupied, promoting energy efficiency.

BLENDED CEMENT
Blended cement is made using industrial by-products, making it an eco-friendlier alternative to traditional cement. It reduces the energy used in concrete production and cuts carbon emissions by up to 30%, leading to an estimated reduction of 27 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent every quarter.
EV CHARGING STATIONS
