An Antidote To Maximalism

In the realm of luxury living, where opulence holds court, a strong desire for minimalism has emerged under the name of 'Quiet Luxury,' gaining soaring popularity. Amidst the relentless clamor of materialism and excess, spaces that calm the mind and nourish the soul have emerged. As news of this paradigm shift travels throughout the luxury home industry, we at Vianaar in Goa have embraced and explored this concept.

The concept of 'Quiet Luxury,' as probed by leading pioneers in the field of luxury residences, revolves around homes that are constructed spaciously, with meticulously designed interiors adorned in neutral tones, pastels, and delicate colors. These settings blend the old and new, showcasing décor pieces that seamlessly unite the two. This architectural trend embraces a design philosophy that prioritizes refined simplicity and well-balanced proportions. It celebrates the belief that true luxury lies in the artful composition of spaces that provide a sanctuary from the chaotic outside world. By utilizing premium materials, subtle textures, and a restrained color palette, this approach creates an ambiance of sophistication. ‘Quiet luxury’ architecture is understated grandeur, where every detail is thoughtfully curated, and the essence of luxury resonates through simplicity.

The earthy and contemporary design aesthetics in our Goa homes are in line with several versions of this very idea. Every aspect of the holiday homes, from architecture to décor is a careful blend of contemporary elements and traditional influences. The design philosophy of Vianaar Homes is rooted in the belief that homes should be an expression of an equilibrium between mankind and nature. The spaces are created in a manner that merge with their surroundings in order to ensure a harmony between nature and luxury. The homes/apartments and villas are designed to optimize natural light and ventilation while the balconies and even ground floor spaces offer views of the surrounding natural environment. A spacious seating area at Villa Da Zita is a perfect example of this where the exterior is exposed to show a cozy nook adjacent to an archway that reveals the lush green and vibrant tapestry of Goa.

Each residence/holiday home has been thoughtfully laid out by blending luxurious materials and contemporary aesthetics with natural elements of light and flora. Our La Sierra is an exhibit of this concept with its white brick walls adorned by paintings sourced especially from North America and various décor elements that give a neutral and earthy identity to the interiors which is embraced significantly by natural light.

Our holiday homes in Goa offer a range of apartments and villas, each with its own unique character and allure. One that stands out is Villa Cardo with its sprawling complex and a distinctive hallmark in the form of a 7-meter-long footbridge bridging the gap between two wings of the villa atop a wide stilt area with textured flooring. This was engineered to strike a delicate balance between the infrastructure and the environment. This seamless transition from indoor to outdoor is present in all of our villas inviting the Goan landscape to become an integral part of the home.

Sustainability is also a major concept influencing our décor and designs. The institution of Vianaar is deeply committed to creating homes by embracing environmentally responsible practices. With the belief that luxury should not come at the expense of the planet we prioritize sustainability in our projects. One of our most significant projects in this domain is our commitment to the practice of transplantation. We attempt to respectfully co-exist with the natural surroundings of the building at every stage, inviting the large trees to grow through and around the complex while replanting the small trees in different locations to preserve them.

From the selection of such eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient technologies to the integration of natural ventilation we make a sincere attempt at ensuring a reduced ecological footprint for our homes in Goa. Quite luxury in a lot of ways does subsume the concept of sustainability by encouraging a sense of style that discourages over consumption. Most of our holiday homes are set in this style with spacious settings and minimal elegant décor that highlight the natural flora of Goa to include an experience for all senses from sound to scent.

Goa, the coastal paradise, is also itself one of the highlights of our villas. With its rich cultural heritage, vibrant nightlife, and eclectic cuisine, the beautiful state offers an array of adventures waiting to be explored. Whether you seek a leisurely stroll along the sandy beaches, a taste of local delicacies, or a lively night out on the town, the place presents a world of unforgettable experiences just beyond the doorstep of our apartments and homes. It is, after all truly said, home is a feeling and feelings are unforgettable.
